New Cinescope Pictures announces Robert Pfitzner Sci-Fi Action Adventure "Thrillseekers The Indosheen" has completed principal photography. Goes Post-Production with 1 Beyond Inc.

2009-10-15 – Los Angeles New Cinescope Pictures (NCP) - Moving into the next phase of production New Cinescope Pictures has announced that the Robert Pfitzner "Thrillseekers The Indosheen" adventure has completed principal photography at the Downtown L.A. studio stages and has officially moved into post-production.

After several exciting weeks of shooting the Thrillseekers team has wrapped production on the exciting sci-fi thriller. During Production the main cast was joined by Cassius Willis playing Lieutenant Ben Gorden and Ronnie Gene Blevins playing the devious nightclub owner Calvin. He was joined by Arielle Cohen as his female android sidekick. Ronnie Gene Blevins has stared in such TV shows as "Southland", "Curb Your Enthusiasm", "CSI' and "The Shield" just to name a few.

Australian born Actor Ben Seton, who stared in such films as "The Lost World", "Beast Master" and "The Dinner Party", plays the lead role of Robert Tomlin, a war veteran who goes on the quest for the Indosheen in order to save his soul mate Melanie in the 2099 Los Angeles, which has become the last surviving refuge of mankind. Joining him on his mission are the fearless band of brothers Mekenna Melvin from "Lie to Me" and the "Fighting Kind" as Minnesota, Natalie Garcia Fryman as Ramirez, Eric Dean as Vargas and Cassius Willis as Lieutenant Ben Gordon. Mona Lee Goss plays the last US President and Ihuoma Ofordire is starring as Melanie Hendy. Also Starring are Tracy Coogan, Charlene Geisler, Jack Huang, Spiral Jackson, Conrad Angel Corral, Kenny Hardy, Luke Barnett, Tony Collucci and Jonathan Legg.

In the midst of the Hollywood summer blockbuster kick-off season New Cinescope Pictures announced on Monday its new cast line up for “Thrillseekers The Indosheen”. The new theatrical franchise series closely follows in the tradition of the classic sci-fi, action, adventure Hollywood success formula. After several weeks of an intense casting process and auditioning several hundred actresses and actors the final cast emerged at Dream Big Casting studios in Hollywood. New Cinescope Pictures finally announced the official cast on Monday. “We are very excited about this cast and its potential and welcome the new cast members on board of this great project” says Casting Director Sherrie Henderson.

The lead part of the very human action hero ‘Robert Tomlin’ went to Australian born actor Ben Seton, who is bound to closely follow in the footsteps of fellow Australian actors such as Mel Gibson and Hugh Jackman. Seton’s career started in Australia, where he starred in such TV shows as “The Beast Master” and “The Lost World”, which were shot at the Gold Coast Warner Bros Roadshow Studios in Queensland Down Under. Seton is also starring in the upcoming feature film “The Dinner Party” to be released later this year. Seton proves his ability to command a movie as leading man. “Ben’s charm and strength comes from his everyman appeal, combined with that special something he brings to the table, just like a Harrison Ford or Tom Cruise would.” says director Robert Pfitzner. “I’m very proud to be part of such a quality project, where every scene and every word has meaning and human substance” says Seton.

Co–starring is Ihuoma Ofordire a beautiful, very talented young and upcoming black Hollywood actress, playing the loveable and heartfelt part of Melanie Hendy based on the real life character. “We think Ben and Ihuoma will light up the screen. Both have a really magical, fresh on-screen chemistry, which will push the level of their characters ahead of all the special effects” says Casting Director Dan Velez.

2009-04-08 - Los Angeles, New Cinescope Pictures (NCP) announces their engagement with Dream Big Casting LLC to cast highly anticipated Sci-Fi project "Thrillseekers" now in full casting mode. Pfitzner hires top independent casting firm Dreams Big Casting in the heart of Hollywood.

April sets another new record at the movie box-office. Fast & Furious delivers $72.5 million in tickets in North American theaters on opening weekend, the biggest April opening ever. There is a definite boom in movie going that many experts have tied to a need for affordable entertainment during the recession. Total ticket sales for the year are $2.73 billion, a 15 percent increase over the same period last year. Attendance is up 13 percent overall.

The movie market is going strong as New Cinescope Pictures engages Dream Big Casting to cast their upcoming sci-fi, action thriller "Thrillseekers The Indosheen".
